Collectif > Who we are
“A chain of solidarity aimed at offering a second life to children from the developing world.”
To mark the 50th birthday of H.S.H. Prince Albert II, 18 Monegasque associations involved in international solidarity joined forces under the name “Monaco Collectif Humanitaire”.
The aim of this collective is to support a common project: to provide surgery in Monaco to children from the developing world whose cardiac or orthopaedic pathologies cannot be treated in their countries of origin.
Monaco Collectif Humanitaire currently involves 17 Monegasque NGOs and 3 French partner associations.
The project is managed by the Government of Monaco’s Office of International Cooperation.
384 children have already been offered treatment since the project was initiated.
